HCA Marathon and Nordfyns Bank invite everyone to the Light Race, where the city streets are transformed into a brilliant festival of light.
Experience a unique 5 km run or 3 km walk route through the beautiful streets of Odense, illuminated by thousands of Christmas lights and filled with cosy Christmas spirit. For the 8th time, we run together in the glow of the lights, surrounded by lights and surprises along the way.
All participants will receive a headlamp to light the way through the festively decorated streets, making the Light Run a very special experience for the whole family. After the race, there will be hot chocolate to warm you up. It's an evening where the Christmas spirit and community are in focus!

We ask everyone to arrive in good time so that we can start as planned:
The "Lysløbet" (Light Race) will take place in Odense's cosy alleyways and streets with a 5km run and a 3km walk. The route will go through the city's streets with the beautiful Christmas lights, encountering various surprises along the way for the many participants, who will all be equipped with a headlamp from Harald Nyborg for use on the tour.
A 3 km walk Remember to keep to the right of Kongensgade so the runners have an opportunity to overtake.
Dogs are not allowed for the safety of other participants.
We recommend and encourage you to leave your headphones at home. Instead, you can enjoy the atmosphere and Christmas peace around the city's streets and alleyways. Furthermore, it will be easier for you to hear if a runner or a Samaritan is approaching from behind and needs to pass.
