After a break of several years, Egeskov Slotsløb, one of Funen's most beautiful and scenic races, is finally returning. The HCA Marathon and Egeskov Castle welcome you and combine exercise, fellowship and experiences in the fairytale surroundings of Egeskov Castle in Kværndrup on South Funen.
Run a 10 or 5 km through idyllic nature on country lanes and in the forest. The routes end at the paths at Egeskov Castle. For a more leisurely run, the 5 km route can also be completed as a walk.
For the little ones, a cosy 2.5 km children's race winds its way through the paths around the castle. A race experience out of the ordinary.

The start number also gives you free access throughout the day to enjoy the surroundings at Egeskov (garden, exhibitions and play forest). If you want access to the castle itself, you must purchase a ticket.

Do you have an annual pass to Egeskov? Then you can get a DKK 50,- discount when you register. The card must be presented and be valid on race day.

If you need to make changes to your registration, such as updating your name, switching distances, or transferring your entry to another runner, please ensure these updates are made in advance to keep the results list accurate for all participants.

Start - finish at the Labyrinth
We ask all participants to arrive in good time so that we can start the race on schedule.

There is a hydration station for the 10 km runners after about 5 km.
Dogs are not allowed for the safety of other participants.
We recommend and encourage you to leave your headphones at home. Instead, enjoy nature and its sounds. Plus, it's easier for you to hear if there's a runner or official coming up behind you.
HOW YOUR TIME IS RECORDED
Chip: The time is registered automatically with a chip on the back of your race number.
The race number must be worn visibly on the front of your shirt, it must not bend or bend.
Gross Time The time recorded from the official start signal until you cross the finish line.
Net Time The time recorded from the moment you cross the start line until you cross the finish line.
At the target depot you will be offered water, Faxe Kondi, an apple and a muesli bar.
There will be a unique Egeskov Castle Race medal for all participants.
At the finishing line, you will receive your medal. Please leave the area in the direction of the fluid replacement station.
There are prizes for 1st - 2nd - 3rd M/K in the 5 km and 10 km races (gross time).
After the race, you can check your time and print your event certificate through the results list.
