Say goodbye to the year with a bang when HCA Marathon in collaboration with Løbebutikken Multiatleten invites you to the New Year Race in Odense. It's the perfect opportunity to take the last revenge of the year against your running mates, colleagues and friends. The race takes place in the morning on the last day of the year, so there's plenty of time for final New Year's preparations after the race.
You can choose between a 5km or 10km race and for the younger ones, there's a fun 2.5km kids' race so the whole family can join in!
After the race, we gather to wish each other “HAPPY NEW YEAR” with bubbles and wreath cake in cosy company.

VERY IMPORTANT
If you need to make changes to your registration, such as updating your name, switching distances, or transferring your entry to another runner, please ensure these updates are made in advance to keep the results list accurate for all participants.
You can make the changes yourself online under FAQ, Otherwise by picking up your start number or by contacting info@hcamarathon.dk or 3059 2444.
You can pick up your race number and long-sleeved running shirt:
If you want to pick up more than six bibs at once, send an email to info@hcamarathon.dk no later than 18 December at 9:00 am and we will pack them ready for collection.
Avoid bending the race number - as the chip is attached to the back of your race number.
Purchase an HCA Marathon neck warmer when you pick up your race bib on race day.
If you are one of the early registrants, you will receive a long-sleeved running shirt together with your start number.
Please note that there are only a limited number of shirts in limited sizes, so don't wait too long to sign up.
If the size doesn't fit, you can exchange it after the race - in unused condition and while stocks last.
Do not leave your belongings/clothes in the changing rooms, but leave them in the “Luggage Storage” in the hall.
Here you can also hand in valuables, as the area is monitored throughout the race. Attach the luggage tag from your race bib to your luggage.
We recommend that you drop off your luggage well in advance of the race. The baggage storage is open from 9.45.
On race day, all parking is prohibited on Solfaldsvej and Heden, as the race route runs here. Instead, use OUH, OB, Odense Zoo/Dyreskuepladsen and the side streets around OUH.
Get an overview of parking spaces with Odense Rundt - Parking.
REMEMBER to check the signs
Toilets are located in the changing rooms, in the corridors towards the changing rooms and at each end of the school square.
If you are more than 8 people who want to sit together over cake and bubbles, write an email to info@hcamarathon.dk before the race to reserve a table in the hall.
Start - finish at Hunderupskolen, Solfaldsvej, 5000 Odense C.
We ask everyone to arrive in good time so that we can start as planned:
Here you can see the routes for the New Year's Race 2025:
