If you need help finding your way around on race day, you can call the HCA Marathon traffic hotline at 93 94 57 89.
The phone is open 21 and 22 September from 16:00 - 20:00 and 23 and 24 September all day.
In 2023, the marathon route has been successfully completed so that the Light Rail can run all day from Odense Station to Odense Sports Park. This makes it easy to get there and back, or take it into the city centre to cheer on friends and family. The fact that it has also become both easier and cheaper to buy a ticket for the Light Rail, with their ”Scan and Swipe” for DKK 10 for people under 26 and DKK 15 for people aged 27 or older, does not make the product any worse.
It is possible to park at the terminus in Hjallese and take the light rail to Odense Idrætspark. There is also good parking at Bilka/Rosengårdcentret (free).
The light rail runs approximately every 15 minutes on Sundays. More info www.odenseletbane.dk
The light rail replaces the shuttle buses that usually run back and forth at the HCA Marathon.
Motorists are encouraged to arrive in good time and use the car parks on the surrounding roads to Odense Sports Park and the area around Provstegårdsskolen.
